„Durchhörbarkeit” ist doch ein wunderbares Konzept. Es könnte schließlich 24 Stunden “Der Ball ist rund” bedeuten oder auch nur 12 Stunden Ball im Wechsel mit 12 Stunden Volker Rebell. Es könnte heißen „Durchhörbarkeit” für mich mit allen möglichen Richtungen - Programm für Neugierige. Aber nein, hier sollen die Bewohner des seltsamen Territoriums namens FFH-Land vor musikalischen Irritationen geschützt werden. Hörer, die anscheinend nach Meinung der Programmmacher nicht über die nötige Informationskapazität verfügen, komplexere Kompositionen und Texte zu verarbeiten, es sei denn sie hören sie stündlich.

Auf die Nahrungsaufnahme übertragen hieße dieses Konzept “Durchessbarkeit”. Es bestünde natürlich nicht aus der von Ernährungswissenschaftlern empfohlenen Vielfalt bester, gesunder Zutaten - mit hier und da eingestreuten “Schweinereien”. “Durchessbarkeit” à la HR3 würde sich an den Lieblingsspeisen der Bevölkerung orientieren, mit dementsprechend garantierten Spitzenpositionen für Döner, Pizza und Currywurst. Und das dann den ganzen Tag, immer wieder durchsetzt mit dem gerade aktuellen Lieblings Fast Food. Der unweigerlich hierdurch verursachte frühe Tod wird manchem wie eine Erlösung vorkommen.

Doch, wozu braucht der HR hierzu noch Köche? Warum sollen wir hierfür noch à la Carte Preise zahlen?

Lasst die Verantwortlichen sich doch ihr eigenes Grab schaufeln, wenn sie noch nicht mitbekommen haben das die Vielfalt woanders und nicht die einheitsbreiigen Privatsender die größte Konkurrenz des öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunks ist. Und versteht mich bitte nicht falsch: Eine großartige Sendung, die nicht sterben darf!

Vielleicht sollten alle wirklich guten Sendungen zu HR2 gehen …

Genau besehen ist es fast erstaunlich, wie lange der hr der breiten Front des Mainstreams dann doch widerstanden hat. Kompliment für 24 Jahre exzellente Arbeit, Herr Walter. Und nun also “Durchhörbarkeit”. Die sogenannte Durchhörbarkeit veranlasst doch jetzt schon so viele potentielle Hörer (wie mich), das Radio garnicht mehr oder eben nur für den Ball anzuschalten. Da wünsche ich viel Glück beim Finden eines eigenständigen Profils. Ohne profilierte Sendungen geht das nämlich nicht.

Dient wahrscheinlich alles dem Kommerz! was aus dem HR geworden ist, ist ja schon lachhaft! fast so schlimm wie ffh! eine fette, faule und abstruse karaikatur seiner sellbst (aus früheren, schönen Radiotagen)! Und dafür soll der Staatsbürger auch noch gebühren verlangen!

na ja, es gibt ja noch radio bob, einen sender mit konzept, die bieten dem runden ball mit sicherheit ein warmes plätzchen am kamin, da sie scheinbar (noch) wissen, was mündige hörer wollen (dazu zählen defintiv nicht Shakira, Anastacia, Pink und Co!)!

Sicher, bei hr2 schwimmen noch ein paar gehaltvolle Brocken in der immer mehr auf “Durchhörbarkeit” verdünnten (Klassik-)Muzak-Brühe. Doch unterm Strich verfolgen beide Wellen dieselbe Strategie. Der Kannibalisierungseffekt zwischen Klaus Walters “Ball” (So. 23.00-24.00 Uhr hier) und Robert Lugs “Voyager” (So. 23.05-23.55 dort) jedenfalls scheint mir durchaus beabsichtigt.

Ein Interview mit Klaus Walter über “gutes Popradio” ist heute abend ab circa 20:30 in der Sendung Extrablau auf Radio Blau aus Leipzig zu hören. Dieses ist dann sicher auch ab den 11.11. als Podcast verfügbar. Die Plätze im LIVE-Stream sind leider begrenzt.

Wieso nicht bei hr2? Ein gute Autorensendung passt doch gar nicht mehr zu dem Schatzi-und-Mausi-Sender hr3. Ich bin schon dem “Tag” zu hr2 gefolgt und würde mich freuen, wenn diese Welle durch Klaus Walter eine Art musikalische Erneuerung erführe. Vergesst den Mainstream, wieso sollte man so wild darauf sein, auf dieser Dudelwelle gehört zu werden?

Ich finde es unglaublich, dass dieses Juwel verschwinden soll. Sind denn wirklich alle Hörer in Hessen so anspruchslos in ihren Hörgewohnheiten, wie uns das HR 1 glauben lässt? Schade. Es wäre zu hoffen daß diese Aktion eine Lawine auslöst, eine Lawine der Vernunft auf daß der öffentlich-rechtliche Rundfunk wieder zu seinem eigentlichen Auftrag zurück finden möge: Nämlich Qualität und Vielfalt anstatt Einheitsbrei und Durchformatierung. Wofür zahlen wir denn überhaupt noch Gebühren wenn der ÖR genau das versucht was die Privaten besser können und uns zudem noch mit Werbung zumüllt. Liebe Rundfunkverantwortlichen, ich fühle mich betrogen! Wieviele ÖR-Sender gibt es denn noch in diesem Lande die populäre Musik spielen und dennoch ein eigenes Gesicht bewahrt haben? Genau Einen, und das ist kurioserweise nicht etwa eine der millionenschweren gut ausgestatten Anstalten sondern ausgerechnet einer der Kleinsten und Ärmsten leistet sich ein Programm mit Charakter und Qualität.

So sehr ich die Abschaffung dieser Sendungen auch bedauer und verurteile: Bei 2700 Unterschriften ist diese Aktion hier zum Scheitern verurteilt. Beim zehnfachen könnte man im hr vielleicht ins Grübeln kommen, aber bei nur 2700 Unterschriften - trotz dieses wirklich großen Medienechos! - wird man sich in der Bertramstraße sagen: “Mehr nicht? Na, dann weg damit!” Entweder, hier passiert noch irgendwas ganz Großes (wie gesagt: Unter 20.000 Unterschriften wird niemand beim hr ins grübeln kommen!), oder Ihr könnt Euch schonmal mit dem Gedanken abfinden, dass ab Januar die Durchhörbarkeit regiert.

Schon nach den ersten 100 Unterschriften habe ich mich gefragt, ob die HR-Manager wohl in der Lage sind zu erkennen, welch wertvolle Beiträge in der Unterschriftenliste auch zum ÖR im allgemeinen zu finden sind. Hier melden sich Menschen zu Wort, die vermutlich nicht einmal geräuspert hätten, wenn der gesamte HR1 eingestellt worden wäre.
Ob die Verantwortlichen schon mal von qualitativ gewichteter Statistik gehört haben? 20.000 sind mehr als 3.000? Simmt, aber manchmal eben auch einfach nur mehr Banane.
Mit nur noch drei ausstehenden Der Ball Ist Rund und der immer noch nicht erfolgten Nachricht, dass die Sendung hier oder dort fortgeführt wird, bleibt wenig Hoffnung, dass die HR-Bosse mit Charakter auf die Petition reagieren.
Es wird wohl eher auf Pseudocharakter im Stil von “wir wollen unser Gesicht nicht verlieren” und “das müssen wir durchziehen” hinaus laufen.

Bin zwar spät dran mit diesem Beitrag. Aber um Programmvielfalt einzufordern, ist es nie zu spät. Es ist ein Anachronismus zu glauben, dass das rauf- und runternudeln der Charts der letzten Jahrzehnte dauerhaft Hörer bindet. Die Mucke kann man sich schon seit Jahren im Netz zusammensuchen. Unter anderem Dank Klaus Walter bin ich nicht auf diesen Junk angewiesen, der im HR - Hörfunk zu dudeln scheint - wenn man sich die Playlists hier so ansieht. Denn hören kann man dort höchstens noch Reinke. Also HR, aufgehts, holt endlich Klaus Walter zurück!
